Synopsis

An old man lives alone on the New-York building’s roof with the water tower standing. He repairs them, obtaining some extraordinary sound when he plays his violin with them. But the day comes when the water tower are threatened by destruction, leaving the old man without his outstanding instruments.

Director : Elliah Emmanuel

Emmanuel Gorinstein starts his graphic formation to the French Image School Les Gobelins, in 1993, after being accepted first at the entry competition. He worked as storyboarder, and Artistic Director for publicity, the video games industry and the cinema (The man without a head, Renaissance, etc...).
He also directed several animation series for Method Animation. The Water Tower Player is his first live action short film as director.
